Last Updated: March 12, 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website operated by RE B.V. (“RE,” “we,” or “us”) and any information pages, event descriptions, and forms made available on it. By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the website.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the website. If you are under 18, you may use the website only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you are using the website on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Service Description

RE provides information about educational business lectures, executive seminars, professional development programs, and related learning resources offered throughout the Netherlands. The website allows visitors to review event outlines, request information, and register interest via an on‑site form. The website is informational and may be updated, modified, suspended, or discontinued in whole or in part at any time without notice.

Unless stated otherwise in a written agreement signed by RE B.V., content is provided “as is” and “as available” for educational purposes only. Event availability, dates, formats, and locations are subject to change.

3. Educational and Professional Disclaimers

All lectures, seminars, workshops, events, and materials are provided exclusively for educational and informational purposes. Nothing on this website or in any event constitutes business consulting, legal advice, financial advice, accounting advice, investment advice, or any professional advisory service. Participation in an event does not guarantee business success, career advancement, financial performance, income generation, employment outcomes, organizational growth, or any specific results. Participants remain responsible for their own decisions and actions.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) access or use the website for any unlawful purpose; (b) submit false, misleading, or incomplete information; (c) attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network; (d) interfere with or disrupt the website or circumvent any security or authentication measures; (e) copy, distribute, or modify any content except as expressly permitted; (f) use any automated means (including bots, crawlers, or scrapers) to access the website without prior written permission; (g) transmit malware, phishing content, spam, or other harmful materials; (h) impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation; or (i) access the website from regions or jurisdictions where such access is prohibited by applicable law or sanctions.

5. Registration and Submissions

When you submit a form to request information or register interest, you agree that all information you provide is accurate and complete. We may contact you using the details you provide to process your request. Form data is processed in line with our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to decline or cancel a request at our reasonable discretion, for example where the information provided is inaccurate or where capacity is not available.

6. Intellectual Property

The website, including text, layout, graphics, logos, icons, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to RE B.V. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to access and use the website for your personal, non‑commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, or create derivative works from any part of the website without our prior written consent.

“RE” and associated marks are trademarks of RE B.V. You may not use our trademarks or trade dress without express written permission.

7. Third‑Party Services and Links

The website may reference third‑party services (for example, mapping services) or link to third‑party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third‑party content, policies, or practices. Accessing third‑party sites is at your own risk. Any references do not imply endorsement.

8. Privacy and Cookies

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal data, and our Cookie Policy explains our use of cookies and similar technologies. By using the website, you acknowledge these policies and your choices, including consent for non‑essential cookies where applicable under GDPR.

9. Disclaimers of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and all content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non‑infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error‑free operation. We do not warrant that the website will be secure, free from viruses, or available at all times.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RE B.V., its directors, employees, and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of the website or reliance on any content.

Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the website will not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid to us for services giving rise to the claim in the 12 months preceding the event, or (b) €100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Dutch law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RE B.V. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the website; (b) your breach of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any law or third‑party right.

12. Changes to the Website and to These Terms

We may modify the website at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page at least 14 days before they take effect, unless a quicker change is required by law or for security. Your continued use of the website after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the website if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or to protect the website, users, or our partners. Upon termination, the rights and licenses granted to you will end, but the following sections will survive: Intellectual Property, Disclaimers of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law and Jurisdiction, and Miscellaneous.

14. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for any delay or failure to perform resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, labour disputes, cyberattacks, power or internet failures, or failures of hosting providers or third‑party networks.

15. International Use

The website is operated from the Netherlands and targeted to participants across the Netherlands. We make no representation that content is appropriate or available in other locations. If you access the website from outside the Netherlands, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws where they apply.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim (including non‑contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

For consumers resident in the European Union, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of habitual residence and you benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of that jurisdiction. For business users and non‑consumers, the courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the website.

17. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by emailing us a notice of dispute and a short description of the issue. We will attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith within 30 days. If it is not resolved within that period, the parties may pursue the rights described in the Governing Law and Jurisdiction section above. Actions must be brought in an individual capacity and not as part of a class or collective proceeding, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

18. Electronic Communications and Signatures

By using the website or sending us emails, you consent to receive electronic communications from us. You agree that electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. Where electronic signatures are used, they are intended to be valid and enforceable under applicable law, including the EU eIDAS Regulation where relevant.

19. Assignment

We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms, in whole or in part, to any affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of assets. You may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent, and any attempted assignment in violation of this restriction is void.

20. Severability and No Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.

21. Entire Agreement

These Terms and the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and RE B.V. regarding your use of the website and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral, or written, between you and us regarding the website.
